I'll echo the sentiment that V--Z had... I continue to renew annually rather than buying the lifetime subscription specifically because I want to do it to thank Ryan for the work he's done in the last year, and to encourage him to continue. In a couple years the extra money will start adding up for Ryan as I'll break the $99 mark in my annual renewals. Is it the most frugal for me? no, but then that's not the point of being a "patron of the arts" now is it? |

Don't renew for 2 or 3 years, do the lifetime..It is the best deal! |

I too am an engineer (student) but have elected for the lifetime membership route. I've purchased some of the extra things as well, such as the fUnc Mousing Surface (rather pretentious name, but whatever), in order to support Ryan more for the hundreds of images I've gotten from him. For those who can't swing that $99 at once (take a class in personal finance; saving is a great skill to have) this will be a good thing I suppose. The bottom line is still: lifetime members are the awesomest ever - don't you want to be one too? |

There are many possible reasons that some people aren't willing to spendin their money wisely. Starving college students, for instance - A full year subscription cuts out at least a week of heavy drinking for a semester. But in more seriousness... I'm an engineer, and therefore frugal by nature. But I've so far shunned the lifetime membership, because even though Ryan's income is paid by more than just member subscriptions, I still would prefer to continue supporting him. $15 for around 50 to 60 or so high quality pieces of inspiration a year is already an impressive bargain. Getting another $5 off? I don't think my engineering nature will be able to pass that up next year when I re-up =) |

I purchased the Life Time Membership long time ago and I still feel today that I spent my money very wisely. The life time membership it's really worth every penny.... |

I thought this would be another option for those unwilling to spend $99. Never hurts to have options... |

If you like it enough to buy multiple years at a time, just get the lifetime version. No, really.... |
