"Very cool"
I really like the original, it's fun to look at. The dual-screen viewpoint is missing something though. The shape of the central piece isn't visible; kind of a shortcut to get the dualscreen published I guess.

"Archaea "
It's one of those renders that actually grows on you (no pun intended).

But I agree, I would like to see some color variations (the rainbow suggestion that ChrisSpera came up with sounds good.

As always Love your work and I look forward to what you will come up with for 2012.

All the best to you and your family.

"Dual Screen"
The multiscreens came out great! Zooming in takes care of any bezel issues and really shows off the detail on a large viewing are.

"Dual/Triple Screens"
The dual and triple screens for The Gardener and Archaea are missing from the dual/triple screen wallpaper pages (http://digitalblasphemy.com/dualscreen/dualscreen1.shtml and http://digitalblasphemy.com/triscreen/triscreen1.shtml). Why?

"Different Colors Would be Cool"
Getting this in different colors or even a rainbow of colors in the same render might be interesting. This almost looks "dead." Having something that reacted more with light, with different colors might bring more life to the shot. Just a thought

No need to apologize! I've learned to live with the varied response to my abstract work.

"PS"
If you zoom out on these I hope it's in a hot spring like Prismatic Pool and not a human colon. Just saying ;)

And this one does not disappoint.

"but this one is different :)"
Me too, Littlemom. I don't always go for the microscopic images. I will never choose to gaze at anything overly gooey or hairy (lol) or anything that resembles a bug on my desktop. But, this one is different to me. It has glowy, pretty colors and an appealing design and seems to represent "good bacteria." :)

"Perfect"
These are the wallpapers I wait for! I love the detail in the individual "nodes", and the depth of field effect works quite nicely.

I'll be using this as soon as the dual screen version is released.

"not my favorite"
this render reminds me of a cell or something inside the human body, just not my thing but look forward to your next render though

"Crashes with Bootcamp?"
Ryan, I have a dinosaur of a 2007 MacBook Pro, and it runs Lightwave 3D 9.6, .Vue Infinite 6, and Poser Pro for OSX without any problems. Upgrading these to the latest Mac versions would cost about the same as buying a new MacBook Pro, but some day...

There are trial versions of Vue available. Have you tried it out on the OSX side? It may not be a 1:1 experience, but it may be more stable than Bootcamp.

"Different? / Same?"
Ryan, I find this to be similar to some previous work, but at the same time it is very unique and quite special.

Maybe it's because this one looks like a living organism.

Were you going for something like that?

(I guess from the title you were)

"About the MacBook Pro..."
Hey Ryan! Thanks for this great image, I love this sort of images where you cannot tell for sure whether the scale is very large or small. Okay, for this particular one you mentioned single-celled organisms, so it's not that hard to decide... but that's not the point. You also mentioned a MacBook Pro and you seem not too satisfied with it... um, if you want to get rid of it, just give me a call... ;) Just kidding, thanks again for the upload and keep on creating great pieces of inspiration and imagination!

"Cool and creepy!"
It looks so real, I can almost imagine little bacteria wandering around in the picture, which is just a bit creepy. But its also really cool the level of detail you've made, and wow, it is just amazing! :)
