This one is another Plant Factory experiment where I am attempting to vary the coloring of my leaves per individual tree. Most Vue plants have one leaf color (and this look unconvincing in Autumn renders) but here I've created a tree with five different color "zones". The bottom leaves are purplish, red above that, then orange, then yellow and green at the tops. The Vue scene is a test of sorts to see how they look together in a "natural" setting. Basically it's a doodle of sorts, but I thought it looked nice enough to share. Let me know what you think!

"Love the 'no fog'"
Ryan, I have to say I love the 'no fog' version you uploaded for multi! I thought the original was great but you made another great option, with the 'no fog'.

"No fog!"
After looking at the dual-screen without fog, I've decided that I like it over the original. Maybe a fogless single?

Far be it for me to question your work or how you render it; it's all amazing...

"Re: Multiscreen"
The multiscreen version (sans fog) is rendering now on Bucephalus!

I'd personally be okay with seeing the multis without the fog. Not sure how much it will impact the overall image (who knows, it could even be better than the original), but I'd sure like to see the multis.

Would it be alright if I rendered the multiscreen version without the fog? This one took a crazy long time to render because of it.

Ever gonna be able to get a multi-screen of this one Ryan?

"Lovely!"
I really like this one! The scene reminds me of the autumn view across the lake where I grew up. Is there any chance of a dual monitor version in the near future?

"Beautiful colours"
Well done Ryan

More like this please. I really like the way you have done the colours, it looks very realistic.

Very bright for an autumn day. Reminds me of the cottage!

"Color zones"
For what's it's worth; as I have photographed fall foliage through the years, I've noticed that coloration happens from the prevalent wind direction too. The area that cold wind hits, turns quicker than areas of the leave that are "leeward" of the wind.

"Whoah!"
Love this, Ryan. I think it's probably the most life-like nature scene you've done so far. It looks a lot like the woods around our lazy river in southern Wisconsin. The water is perfect.

"Just lovely!"
This looks almost photo-realistic!! The only thing that distracts from it is that the water looks a little swampish instead of having a smoother mirror finish that you'd expect to see on an autumn morning with that little bit of fog starting to clear... This is so very lovely though you totally nailed those trees with your "doodle" lol! I'd love to see a pickle jar version with reduced ripples/graininess in the water if possible - the top landscape looks like it belongs with crystal clear mirror-smooth water... ;o)

"A 9!!!"
Wow Ryan this one has really caught my eye!!! I gave it a 9 out of 10 only because I think the only think you could do to make it even better is removing the clouds/fog in front of the trees. Other than that this is absolutely going to be one of my all time favorite renders that you've done!!!

""A doodle of sorts"?"
Then you're doodling is a ton better than my attempts at art of any sort. Gorgeous work!

"Glorious Autumn!"
Finally an image that makes Autumn appear gorgeous and sunny, not depressing. I did not like the previous images where brown was the dominant color.

"Too photographic..."
...apart from the sun/fogbeams. If as you say you set out to get the trees to look realistic, success in spades!

"Trees and water are great, but ..."
... I'm completely distracted by the diagonal lines/rays near the top, just right of center and down a little. I would expect blue sky there. The lines looks too foggy to be a background mountain, and too distinct to be fog. :-) If they are sun rays, they are at a different angle than other rays down by the water. If that "universe discontinuity" could be fixed, it would be much better IMO. Either way, thanks for sharing this.

"Very, very different"
Much of your other work has a fantasy air to it. This one is so photorealistic it could pass for a literal photo. It would be interesting to see if you can then incorporate some of the fantasy elements you've done and still maintain the photorealistic appearance for the combination!

"amazing"
Ryan, i hate to keep saying the same thing every time but this one is truly amazing. You have taken your "game" to a whole new level. This one captures everything that makes autumn so wonderful.

"Autumn, Vibrant and Alive"
This honestly makes me think of a scene where Autumn is a living and breathing organism and not just a season. Thank you for showing us how Autumn can come to life.
