"Mountan too tall"
Ryan,

The volcano looks like a Hershey's Kiss. I like the scene but you tend to make things too tall for the surrounding landscape. The scene would look better with a more natural looking peak.

Still, very nice.

"A nod to "Finding Nemo?""
I just remember in "Finding Nemo," when Nemo was in the dentist's aquarium he had to swim through a bubble volcano the tank fish called "The Ring of Fire."

"Ring of Fire"
Ryan,

You might want to double check palm tree #3 from the right. I think the leaf and the tree trunk got a little confused.

In general, PLEASE keep up the great work. I get so many comments about the wallpapers. I tell everyone to check out your site! My problem is which one to choose for the day. Thank you for all of the tranquility.

"Great Picture"
Would love to see in a Tri- monitor format. I have always like your ladscape pictures.

"Favorite Daytime Picture"
I usually like the night scene renderings better than day, but this one is an exception. The night version is nice, but I love the use of color bright colors with this and I especially love the trees in the foreground This makes me feel like I'm literally standing there, peering through the trees and over at the volcano! It really draws me into the scene.

"Dual Screen Ring of Fire..."
I need to wait for Vue d'Esprit 6 to come out before I can render a multi-monitor version of this one. Vue 5 can only address 2GB of RAM (it's a 32-bit program) while Vue 6 will be able to use all of the RAM (8 GB) installed on my new system.

I had a lot of trouble rendering this one using Vue 5 because I kept running out of memory. Rendering for multiple screens means I have to add more geometry to the scene and I just can't do it with the current software.

Hopefully Vue 6 will be out before the end of the year. I will certainly render dual and triple screen versions ASAP!

"Poor Dual Screens snuffed again"
We've made it to October, and this is still this years best. So much color, contrast, depth, life... I love it...

To bad as a dual screen user, I'm not permitted to enjoy it. Instead I get, dark, blue, and dreary... woohoo :(

"One of the best recently"
I love this one. The volcano adds a certain element or originality compared to the other scenary renders. Everything is very well done and detailed including the trees, plants, volcano smoke, water etc.

"Why no dual monitor version?"
This is one of this year's best! Why did you skip doing a dual monitor version? On behalf of those of us who use a dual monitor setup, I'd love to see this one expanded!

"Missed chance"
I like the idea behnd this picture, but what a shame that you filled the sky with ugly trees instead of some beautiful sky with or with some clouds.

Don't like it as it is now.

More like this please, very nice. And for once, not even a night-shoot. :)

"Ring of Fire"
I think this is a great image, and the volcano is spectacular. The tree trunks, however, came off as rather odd to me. They look almost squarish. Other than that, great work.

"I feel claustrophobic"
I think this one is kind of cool, but I feel really claustrophobic. I dunno, I can't place it but, I wish I could see more, maybe a lower angle or something. Even if one of the trees to the right or left were gone, it'd feel less smothering. The trees need to be in the peripheral, not in front. My eyes tend to look at the palm trees more, it's really hard for me to decide what the real focus is here (of course it's the volcano)

I like the idea of looking out over the water from a jungle, but I'd probably stand a little closer to the trees. I feel like I'm standing there but I want to go closer! Because it gives me these feelings, I don't really want this one on my desktop.

On another note, I'd like to see some zen gardens, something more deserty, rather than a jungle or beach. Less dark images too!

Hope these comments help! You do have good work, keep it up!

Jeremy

"Can't see the smoke for the trees"
