"One of my first"
Not only is this "early work" but it is actually one of my first images. This one is in the 1998 gallery but it was actually done in 1994/95 (somewhere around there).

Agreed... this one is striking in the detail for its time. For me as a caver, though, underground scenes evoke a sense of adventure and excitement, and this one certainly does that!

If you're still into doing remakes, Ryan, I put in my vote for this one. With your honed artistic genius and your new software, this would be fantastic.

It's got that Easter Island or Abu Simbel feel to it... You have a few more like this from the early years, most notably "Regis" ('99) for its monumental face and "Equatorial" (same year) for the equally monumental rocks that are likewise perched on the very edge of a shoreline. I've never lost my fascination with works like this; they always leave me wondering who built them and how long it's been since anyone but me has seen them.

"fantastic work"
been a fan for years, only became a member within the last week. i don't see how Mr hall can claim that you stole anything, a leaf floating on a pond is a common image, it occurs in nature frequently..it's not as if either you or him "stole" the idea...

keep up the good work..the members gallery is well worth the donation, i put it off for too long and am happy to help your creative endeavors
