The images in my galleries are protected by international copyright law. By visiting my public gallery you are granted a personal license to download and use the images as wallpaper on your personal computer and to share a few of them with your friends and family through email. Posting my work on personal or commercial websites is prohibited with the following exceptions:
Non-Members: You can choose to use an image from my free gallery for your web page background provided that you heed the following rules:
- You must host the graphic file yourself (see below for some sites which will host your files). I do not provide image hosting, and the image will not display on your page if you try to link to it on my server.
- You must provide an image credit and link to digitalblasphemy.com prominently on your page.
I remove images from the free gallery from time to time, but you can leave any image that was once in the free gallery on your page if you follow the above rules.
Digital Blasphemy Members. You can choose to use an image from my entire collection for your web page background provided that you heed the following rules:
- You must host the graphic file yourself (see below for some sites which will host your files). I do not provide image hosting, and the image will not display on your page if you try to link to it on my server.
- Members only images (not in the free gallery) must be scaled down to at most 800 pixels wide. Free gallery images can be used at any resolution.
- An image credit and link is appreciated but not required.
You must keep your Membership active to continue using my Members Only images.
Teachers: Teachers may use my work in the classroom setting or on class websites for educational purposes provided that my website address is properly credited. My images may not be offered for download for non-educational purposes. Members Gallery images may not be offered for download in hi-resolution format. A personal Membership purchase is appreciated but not required.
Churches: Churches wishing to use my graphics must purchase a Commercial License and a Membership. The license is a one time purchase but the Membership must remain active while my images are being used.
More information on requirements for posting my work on your webpage can be found here.
All entities interested in using my work on a commercial webpage must purchase a commercial account.. Lots of sites start out as personal pages but later go commercial either by design or by circumstance. I suggest you purchase a commercial membership if your page is a personal one now but you are planning "expansion". This applies to Myspace profiles which serve a commercial (or "for-profit") function.
Musicians interested in using my work for album covers who are not affiliated with the RIAA (or equivalent body in your country of origin) must pay a $250 license fee and purchase a personal Membership. Please contact me for payment instructions. Musicians affiliated with the RIAA (or equivalent body) must contact Digital Blasphemy for licensing arrangements. My URL must be displayed in the liners notes as an image credit in all cases.
My work may not be distributed on CD-ROM or other archival media like DVD-ROM, ZIP, floppy, or in compressed archives like zip, gz, or tar files. My images may be printed for personal use but not for distribution (commercial or non-profit).
If you need to use my artwork for print or mass distribution not covered above, please send me an email with your requirements and your timeline. I will require a copy (maybe 2) of whatever it is you're distributing if we come to an agreement. The mailing address is here. Give me a couple of weeks to respond though, because I get a lot of such requests. Consider all image use requests denied until I personally notify you to the contrary.
I do not sell licenses to distribute my members gallery images. Please don't ask.
When posting my work on your website remember the following:
Images may be resized and/or cropped to fit your layout but I ask that you do not alter the images.
Under no condition will I allow any of my hi-res images to be posted without the URL watermark in the lower right corner. This rule is written in stone.
If you see such an image on any website I kindly ask that you drop me a line and let me know for you can be sure that it's there without my knowledge.
There can be no exceptions to the above stated rules. REMEMBER: An unanswered email does not mean that you have my permission..
