Latest Renders

"Art is never finished, only abandoned." -- Leonardo da Vinci

Digital Blasphemy 2018 Wall Calendar
This page contains my latest renders and works-in-progress. Some projects will be completely new and some may seem familar. As technology improves over the years I like to revisit earlier concepts and see if I can improve them.

My newest work is available only to DB Members. These images are changable for up to a week (maybe two) after I first post them as I fix things and find improvements. Member feedback is important to me so please leave a rating and comment on the images that interest you.

"Must show Brandon"
If you have not yet shown this to Brandon Sanderson you really should. He loves this kind of stuff. Just find him on Facebook.

"Glory"
Seems like going backwards but I prefer the night version more. This is really cool but has a slightly washed out look to it somehow as though looking through a filter or something. Layout is great though and the concept is stunning.

"Lack of focal point"
I think it's a neat scene, but it sort of lacks a focal point. I feel like the image got cut off or something.

"Pickle Jar wins easily"
I *VERY* much prefer the pickle jar variant of the scene. It's just better in every way, to my eyes. Far more detail; far more interesting; unpleasant blurriness gone. Also, the weird tilt-shift effect is also much less pronounced. Altogether, this now seems vastly improved. It's just odd that the 'good' one is the pickle jar varient and the 'weird' one is the gallery version! Wrong way round…

"Love the rock monster"
Altogether a very nice wallpaper. Great colours, wonderful light, mysterious caves, and that wonderful rock monster in the middle.

"Missing Building? Moon?"
The dual screen version does not include the spherical building that the single screen image does. Vice versa on the white moon.

I usually download both versions and noticed the difference. Just curious.

"Spaaaaaaaaace"
So awesome! Love your space renders. I think the visual effect of the mountains rising above the atmosphere (as I've seen in some of your other planet renders) is really cool. Makes the scene more interesting than just a flat-looking surface from above.

"Unique and intense abtract!"
Upon initial viewing, I thought there might some chaos going on here. Then, as I continued to gather the image in as a whole, your perspective and depth began to become more apparent.

Original and captivating! I love it.

"Perspective distortion on multiscreen is a dealbreaker for me."
Unfortunately for my triple-screen use, the curve distortion in the multiscreen views is a dealbreaker for me using this as a background. I gave it a couple days but it just ruins the illusion of the setting for me.
