Thanks for another great spring hope project. I have Springpromise 21 280, and work it in around the end of February or a little later. I like this version more than the Pickle Jar version. |

Reminded me of a few days from my childhood when there would be a juxtaposition of melting snow against the oncoming spring. The weather would would be warm and everything would be melting but there would be so much snow that it would make for interesting weather. Tended to spark the adventurous spirit of a young kid that had been bottled up indoors for weeks! |

So lovely and dramatic with that splash of colour in the middle. Wonderful. |

I really like this one, at least a full point, maybe two points better than the original. Well done. |

I really liked it. There is such a contrast between the dark background and the tree. Though I must admit, if my screen size was any smaller, it mightn't show up as much |

The simplicity and contrast of the color palette work really nicely here.
Living in the northern Rockies, I can relate to the sense that, although it's spring, it could yet snow. |

At my level of vision, the detail is very lost and...I don't know. My vantage point is a lot different than what you may see on a very intimate and micro level. At first glance, the thumbnail struck me as one of your earlier pieces from the late 90's, like "The Turning". Where then, it was devoid of detail due to software limitations, this one lacks the detail due to lighting and just the general "grey and black". Then again, it may just be me and these long northern winters ;) |

While I love this pic, why is it not in the "latest renders" gallery (the page that is "wip.shtml")...? Is it just my browser? |

Looks like a scene out of Legend of Sleepy Hollow. I like it and how it took a minute to really appreciate the ground flowers. I keep getting distracted by how it looks like it has a film over it, or like the contrast is out of whack. Still cool though. |

You know how having a pet lowers your blood pressure? This print is my new pet. |

I like the contrast and its a good render, but for my area, spring trees are white and pink, so this evokes more of a late autumn feeling for me |

I lurve the flash of color, not just the obvious red tone, but the lil flecks of blue that brighten up the darkness.
This is already on one of my computers, look forward to the TriScreener. |

This just suits my mood, and it's gorgeous. I love the tiny blue glowing flowers! Really great, the shadowing (and highlights) really make it. |

Love the way you've captured the hope of Spring starting to burst forth. Great feel and use of color. |

Sort of. I specifically modeled these as flowers though (where Weirwood trees have blood red leaves). I also made the trunk very dark to discourage comparisons :-)
I still hope to do a Weirwood 2.0 someday!! |

Wow is an understatement when looking at this new render. It's exactly the type of day that I love. In my neck of the woods we've already had some very warm days. And this render reminds me of the fall and winter weather that I so love. Thanks Ryan, great job on this one!!! |

I always love the night/dark scenes. For someone that prefers non-light/bright images, this one is truly wonderful :) |
